For parents who’ve said, “I wish I could keep you in my back pocket forever.”
If this sounds like your house, you’re in the right place
You love your kids. But you just don’t love how your days feel right now.
Maybe this is your world?
☹️
Every morning is a fight about getting dressed, eating breakfast, or getting in the car
☹️
You're late to appointments because someone refuses to get in their car seat or stay buckled
☹️
Your toddler is hitting, biting, pushing, breaking things, or knocking over the baby
☹️
Every meal turns into a negotiation or a meltdown over the wrong plate, cup, or fork
☹️
You feel like you repeat yourself a hundred times a day and nothing sticks
☹️
Bedtime is stretched out and stressful, and even if your child sleeps, the days are so intense you still feel wrung out
☹️
You and your partner argue about parenting, discipline, and “what’s too hard” more than you ever thought you would
And to make it worse:
- You’ve Googled every behavior and ended up more confused
- Every “expert” online says something different and you don't know what to do
- Gentle parenting as you’ve seen it feels way too permissive
- You constantly feel judged in public and second guess every decision at home
The thing is, you’re not lazy, and you’re not a bad parent.
You’re just under-resourced in an incredibly loud and confusing parenting world.
What you really want
When parents finally get a chance to be honest, it’s not about having perfect kids or a drama free house. It usually sounds more like:
✅ “I want our evenings to feel peaceful, not like we’re just surviving.”
✅ “I want a couple of hours at night to myself to be a person again.”
✅ “I want mornings that don’t start with yelling.”
✅ “I want my partner and I to be on the same page.”
✅ “I want to feel like I actually enjoy my kids.”
Underneath that, it comes down to three big things:
😴
Peaceful,
predictable rhythms
So mornings, mealtimes, and bedtimes don’t feel like daily battles.
😌
Respectful behavior and clear boundaries
So your child knows what’s expected and you know that your actions will match your words.
🥰
Real support from an expert you trust
So you’re not trying to decode every new behavior alone with a search bar and your own guilt.
So why isn’t it getting easier?
If you’re here, you’ve probably already put in a ton of effort. You’ve read the books, listened to the podcasts, saved all the parenting reels, tried time ins and thinking spots, made reward charts, maybe even done family or play therapy.
Sometimes when I start explaining a strategy, I hear the same thing over and over:
“Yes… I’ve tried that.”
And you’re not wrong. In some way, you've probably tried what feels like everything!
The problem usually isn’t that you picked the wrong idea. It’s that:
☹️ No one really explained why it works, so it was hard to stay with it once it felt uncomfortable
☹️ You tried it once or twice, didn’t see instant magic, and decided it “didn’t work”
☹️ You gave your child a ton of wiggle room and lowered your expectations, instead of holding them to what they’re capable of
☹️ You didn’t have anyone in your corner when it got messy, so it felt easier to drop it and move on to the next tip
Parenting tools only start to work when you use them with consistency, commitment, and some kind of united front.
Nan’s Village is about giving you the language, the mindset, and the support to keep going long enough to see real change at home, instead of feeling like nothing ever works for your family.
Welcome to a new type of parenting support🥰
When parents finish working with me, they almost always say some version of:
“Can I just keep you in my pocket forever?” OR “I feel so much more confident now, but can I keep asking you questions when the next challenge comes up?”
Nan’s Village was created as a way to say yes to that.
Up until now, “support” for you has probably meant late-night Googling, scrolling reels, or throwing a desperate post into a Facebook group and hoping someone kind and helpful replies.
Sometimes you get useful ideas. Sometimes you get judged. Most of the time you end up more overwhelmed.
Nan’s Village is the opposite of that noisy, hit-or-miss experience.
It’s a cosy little corner of the internet where you don’t have to pretend things are fine. You can show up tired, teary, frustrated, or completely over it and still be met with calm, steady support.
This is where you come when:
- you’ve tried the books, podcasts and reels and still feel stuck
- you want to handle big feelings without losing yours every time
- you’re tired of conflicting opinions and just want one trusted voice
- you need someone to say, “Here’s what I’d try next,” in plain language
Everything inside Nan’s Village is built on years of being in real homes with real families, seeing what actually helps kids feel safe and parents feel more confident.
It’s grounded in trust, respect and connection, not shame or quick-fix tricks.

What life at home can start to feel like when you have support
None of this is about creating a perfect house or perfect children.
It’s about shifts like:
- Bedtimes that are mostly calm and predictable instead of multi hour battles
- Fewer explosive meltdowns over every transition, choice, or “no”
- Kids who understand that “no” really means “no” and that you’ll follow through
- A home where hitting, biting, and breaking things are addressed clearly and consistently
- Parents who feel more united and less like they’re working against each other
- Evenings where you can take a hot shower, watch your show, or sit with a glass of wine without listening for the next scream
You still have real days and real feelings.
You just aren’t dreading every morning before your feet hit the floor.

Meet the heart behind Nan’s Village
Hi, I’m Kerri, but most families call me “Nan.”
I’ve been in the world of kids and families since I was 11 years old and started babysitting. At age 14, I wrote my first sleep plan for a mom who couldn’t figure out why her children were sleeping for me but not for her.
I wrote down everything I was doing with her children, and she followed the routine. Suddenly everyone was sleeping! I didn’t know it then, but that was the beginning of what I do now.

But parents don’t stay with me because of my resume.
They stay because they feel seen, heard, and never judged.
I’ll never tell you there’s one perfect way to parent.
Outside of abuse and neglect, there isn’t a black and white “right or wrong.” There is only what’s right for your child, your family, and your values.
My job in Nan’s Village is to help you stop “shoulding” on yourself, let go of the shame, and start parenting in a way that feels clear, respectful, and sustainable.
Who Nan's Village will help best
If you’re reading this and wondering, “Is this for us?”, here’s what usually tells me yes:
- You’re mentally and physically wiped from constant battles and big feelings
- You’re open to coaching and willing to look at your own patterns without piling shame on yourself
- You’re done with “anything goes” permissive parenting, but you don’t want harsh, fear based methods either
- You’re willing to try things differently and give them a fair chance to work instead of quitting after one rough day
- You want ongoing support as your child grows, not just a one time fix that falls apart in the next stage
This may not be the right fit if..
Nan's village is an inclusive space, where we celebrate diversity and work hard to make every family feel comfortable and welcome. However it may not be your community if:
- You want a “fix my child” solution without changing anything in how you respond
- You believe children only learn through fear, punishment, or humiliation
- You’re hoping someone will swoop in and take over, rather than walk beside you while you lead your family
- You feel as though the problem only lies with your child's behavior or only with your parenting. I promise it is a bit of both and it take an open mind and an open heart to grow from there.
What change can look like
When Jessica first reached out, her family of four was co-sleeping out of sheer survival. Carson wouldn’t sleep on his own, bedtime took forever, and the only way anybody got any rest was if both parents lay down with him.
Evenings weren’t theirs anymore. If they wanted to get anything done, he had to stay up late with them. Everyone was exhausted and running on fumes. After working together, here’s how she described it:
“Carson sleeps like a pro. Bedtime takes 15–20 minutes and he sleeps through the night. In his own bed. Plus his daytime behavior is monumentally better. Zac and I have our nights back and we are forever grateful to Kerri.”
This is the kind of shift we’re working toward in Nan’s Village.
Not a “perfect” child or a silent house, but nights you can count on, behavior that feels manageable, and space to breathe again.
You don’t have to wait for a “big enough” crisis to get help.
You’re allowed to want home to feel better than this.
